Norfolk County Association of Parish & Town Councils
Norfolk County Association of Parish & Town Councils (NCAPTC) is a member based organisation and membership is open to all Parish Councils, Town Councils and Parish Meetings in Norfolk.
NCAPTC protects and promotes the interests, rights, functions and privileges of members in the performance of their duties and seeks to promote and develop the social, cultural and recreational life of their areas. We also promote a widespread and well-informed interest in local government.
We are the first point of contact for all member councils in need of free advice on legal, financial and procedural matters. Questions will be answered either by our staff or national specialists depending on the nature and complexity of the enquiry
The Association is an independent body. The Annual General Meeting formulates policy and provides guidance. The Executive Committee manages the Association, and is elected from councillors nominated by member councils in each district. The administration is undertaken by our staff.
